📖 Overview🔗

EarthDailyAgro's Environmental Compliance Report analytic enables Brazilian customers to quickly check whether or not a given geometry (1) (field, farm, policy or other) complies with environmental and national legislation. The user provides at least a geometry in WKT (2) format and a CPF (3) or CNPJ (4) number, and they can retrieve the report in JSON and PDF format, with all intersection percentages if any.

  1. AOI (Area of Interest)🔗

    User-defined area for analysis. Usually defined as WKT.

  2. WKT (Well-Known Text)🔗

    Standard format for representing spatial geometries such as polygons, points, and lines.

  3. CPF (Cadastro de Pessoa Física)🔗

    Brazilian individual taxpayer registry number issued by the Federal Revenue Service. Used to identify natural persons.

  4. CNPJ (Cadastro Nacional da Pessoa Jurídica)🔗

    Brazilian company (legal entity) taxpayer registry number issued by the Federal Revenue Service. Used to identify organizations and companies.

The Environmental Compliance Report is a tool that guides analysis based on federal and state-level geospatial data from Brazilian public institutes. Its goal is to reduce environmental risks by identifying overlap with embargoes, historical deforestation, and protected territories such as native land, permanent protection areas, legal reserves, etc. Easy to apply, it is widely used by financial agents, banks, and insurance companies.

🗂️ Baseline Data🔗

The compliance analysis uses comprehensive geospatial datasets from Brazilian federal and state agencies. These include CAR (5) property boundaries, SIGEF (6) and SNCI (7) land registries managed by INCRA (8), conservation areas from ICMBio (9), and embargo lists from IBAMA (10) and state environmental agencies including SEMA-MT (11), SIGA-GO (12), SIGA-MT (13), IAT-PR (14), and the LDI-PA (15) deforestation list.

  1. CAR (Cadastro Ambiental Rural)🔗

    Brazilian national public registry integrating environmental information about rural properties, including farm boundaries and environmental features.

  2. SIGEF (Sistema de Gestão Fundiária)🔗

    Land Management System developed by INCRA to register and validate georeferenced rural property data.

  3. SNCI (Sistema Nacional de Cadastro de Imóveis Rurais)🔗

    National Property Certification System developed by INCRA to manage cadastral and geospatial data of rural properties.

  4. INCRA (Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária)🔗

    Federal agency responsible for land reform, land management, and maintaining Brazilian national land databases such as SIGEF and SNCI.

  5. ICMBio (Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade)🔗

    Federal agency responsible for managing Brazil's conservation units and biodiversity preservation.

  6. IBAMA (Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis)🔗

    Federal environmental agency in charge of environmental law enforcement, licensing, and conservation at the national level.

  7. SEMA-MT (Secretaria de Estado de Meio Ambiente de Mato Grosso)🔗

    State Secretariat for the Environment in Mato Grosso, responsible for environmental regulation and enforcement.

  8. SIGA-GO (Sistema de Gestão Ambiental de Goiás)🔗

    State environmental management system for Goiás, used to track infractions, embargoes, and environmental compliance.

  9. SIGA-MT (Sistema Integrado de Gestão Ambiental de Mato Grosso)🔗

    State environmental management system for Mato Grosso.

  10. IAT-PR (Instituto Água e Terra do Paraná)🔗

    Environmental institute of Paraná responsible for licensing, monitoring, and conservation activities.

  11. LDI-PA (Lista de Desmatamento Ilegal do Pará)🔗

    Official list of farms with illegal deforestation in the state of Pará.
