Installation

How to get the Plugin

The plugin is available:

as a package on the Github repository of the project: https://github.com/GEOSYS/ArcGIS-plugin/releases. To install it, just download the latest version on the laptop with ArcGIS Pro and double click on the add in and confirm the installation.

Once your plugin is installed, you will see :

To configure the plugin, go to the “Plugin Geosys setting”. The following screen will appear:

The screen will allow you to set the following options:

User Credentials Credentials used for authentication on GEOSYS® Api Platform. The button “Connect” allows to test the validity of registered credentials: if successful the following message will appear.

Test Service: Define the US platform delivery network.
☝️ In case of testing on our pre-production platform, please select “Use testing service”.
Coverage Parameters: The coverage parameters allow to set crop type and sowing date that will be used as parameters in the API request.
Paging Limit: Paging limit is a parameter limiting the number of items in the API response, the default value is 40. This can strongly impact response time.
Map output directory: The map output directory is the folder where all exported data will be stored for further access and analysis.
☝️ The output directory must be on your desktop!
